I decided to meet up with some of my fellow EAPSI peeps in Busan since I'd spent every weekend in Ulsan since arriving. Also, I thought the infection in my gums where my wisdom teeth were came back and I wanted to go visit an English speaking dentist I'd been referred to... O_o is what I was feeling like but since I was going to hang out why not kill two birds with one stone?
In the KTX station while I waited for my train to busan I figured I'd walk around since I had an hour to kill and as always, Korea never disappoints. This was the sign on the way to the women's restroom... yeah, there's no need for the T it just gets in the way, lol.
Oh and does a "glutinous" rice donut sounds really delicious... O_o.... Ummm... I #DIED when I saw this cause yes, one would expect a donut to be sticky but glutinous?? That doesn't make the thing sound delicious at all, lol. BUT we're in Korea so you have to have a "Did they use the correct english word?" moment. Did they mean gluttonous?? I don't think so?? Even still, the context would be off but whateve, still funny nonetheless.
20 minute high speed train ride and I was in Busan!! Let the fun begin!!
After two trains, walking in the rain and getting semi-lost I found the "love" motel we were staying in located in downtown Busan... Yeah, I said love motel, but don't ask, lol. We were starving and decided to go to dinner at a seafood place since Busan is known for their seafood. Check out our spread!!
Soju, Beer and half the menu of various sea creatures prepared in so many ways it had me think of Forest Gump and Bubba... "boiled shrimp, baked shrimp, grilled shrimp, shrimp scampi... " Except... this was NOT shrimp, lol

Supposedly that's abalone... I don't like the way they look when they're alive so I didn't wanna try it cooked... btw EVERYTHING is fresh our of the fish tanks in front of the restaurant... I probably saw my food swimming on my way in, lol... RIP dinner...

The group ventured out into the rain to busan tower but they wouldn't let us up cause the weather was so bad...
My mood, cold summer weather and rain ended up spoiling the rest of my busan weekend... After much drama, which was absolutely hilarious, I finally made it back to the mountains of Ulsan a day earlier... No worries tho... I had a great time nonetheless... Until next weekend!!
